What is solid board
Solid board packaging is strong and remains robust in humid conditions. This packaging offers optimum protection for fresh and delicate products during storage and transit. Solid board is made from recyclable material.
The board comprises a number of layers of paper, that when combined result in a dense and solid type of cardboard. A moisture-resistant layer ensures the correct specifications are met.

For strawberry cultivation Smart Packaging Solutions offers stackable machine-erected trays and punnets. The punnets are suitable for 500 grams of strawberries, while the stackable machine-erected trays accommodate 8 punnets.

Smart Packaging Solutions stackable machine-erected trays are made for delicate and/or moist produce. Stackable machine-erected trays are robust, easy to stack and moisture resistant, and so these solid board transport trays retain their rigidity in humid conditions.
